Instrument Flight Procedure design

Crafting safe and efficient flight paths

We have a long track record of assisting airports with the implementation, safeguarding and periodic reviews of their published Instrument Flight Procedures. Our UK CAA Approved Procedure Designers have a State approved process for the provision of Safeguarding Mapping to enable airports to evaluate the potential impact of developments on their published Flight Procedures. Our team also provide the overlays necessary for Local Planning Authorities to evaluate new applications against the flight procedures associated with an airport.

Our IFP team are also fully conversant with the production and safeguarding of Military Flight Procedures and where applicable, the application of NATO standards to supplement ICAO criteria. We have worked with multiple State defence organisations to design and safeguard flight procedures that are suitable for high performance military aircraft ensuring best practice is maintained whilst maximising operational capability.
