With their pioneering bioelectronic medicine to offer patients and providers a potentially safe and cost-effective approach for treatment of chronic autoimmune, Setpoint Medical asked us to help them develop a convenient and novel iOS programming interface to help facilitate the adoption of this exciting new therapy.

The project story:

In partnership with SetPoint Medical we developed an iPad App to connect with the core device. We advised the client on the RF and Bluetooth Low Energy interfaces within the system and developed the app according to the applicable medical device standards in line with the recent guidelines released by the FDA.

To ensure the ongoing efficiently of the system we generated iPad App development monthly releases.

Results: deliverables and outcomes

The iPad App was developed using an Agile approach with rapid iterations to guide development.

The process was tailored to the medical process needs and the outcome of the project was a fast and reliable communication between app and the embedded device.
