Dominic Černis is awarded IOP fellowship

TP Group’s Chief Technical Officer, Dominic Černis, has been awarded Fellowship status of the Institute of Physics (IOP) in recognition of his exceptional accomplishments in physics. Fellowship is the highest membership grade given by the Institute and reflects a member’s achievements in physics and their service as an advocate of the community, supporting others to develop the experience and expertise needed to contribute to the future of physics and strengthen the voice of the IOP.

Dominic gained his Degree from University College London in Astrophysics in 2000 and has gone on to forge a very successful and extensive Defence career spanning almost 25 years. Working across many parts of the MOD including Dstl, DE&S, WOC, WECA, Defence Digital, DI, FLCs plus multiple Tier 1 Primes and SMEs, he has managed and overseen multi-domain work with a focus in science, technology and innovation covering a range of topics from additive manufacturing to vulnerability modelling. Dominic joined TP Group in 2022 as the Head of Analysis and Operational Research and was later appointed Chief Technical Officer focusing on the design and implementation of the Group’s technical strategy and the assured delivery of all technical work to the absolute highest standard.
