Algorithm toolkit for a neurostimulator
Our client asked:
Our client was developing a new, non-invasive way of measuring a key biomarker used in the control of a neuro stimulator. They had a prototype wearable device and clinical trial data and asked Sagentia Medical for support developing the control algorithm.
The project story:
Working in partnership with our client, we:
- Analysed the clinical trial data, which was quite noisy and variable
- Developed an algorithm to extract the critical biomarker information
- Validated our algorithm against the truth data gathered during the trial
- Created a series of metrics for the client, allowing them to assess and improve future versions of the algorithm
Results: deliverables and outcomes
We provided our client with a much deeper understanding of the fundamental scientific principles of their neuro wearable system.
Our output included a comprehensive toolkit for future development and assessment of their algorithm.
