Our client needed to develop and manufacture an actively pumped hydrogen cartridge for its portable fuel cell system.
The project story:
- The client had decided on chemistry to evolve hydrogen by adding water to a hydride
- Sagentia Innovation developed the active pumping and dosing system
- We developed a test-bed system to determine the critical flow & environmental parameters to generate H2
- We determined the control system to evolve H2 at the correct rate for the fuel cell
- Delivered working demonstrators

- The client understood the control parameters for future iterations
- The product passed all safety regulations to allow use on aircraft
