Mammoth Biosciences: SEEKR instrument & cartridge development

After a rigorous selection process Mammoth Biosciences chose Sagentia Medical to support them in the development of SEEKR instrument & cartridge.

The project story:

Mammoth Biosciences is a leading CRISPR diagnostics technology (DETECTR) enables the enhanced detection of multiple pathogens, enabling rapid, sensitive and highly specific diagnosis at Point of Care.

Working with Mammoth Bioscience, Sagentia Medical developed a concept design with the following features:

• An extremely low-cost instrument suitable for use outside of the lab
• A cartridge for up to 30 pathogens that could work with multiple samples, including swabs, blood, and urine

Design concepts in collaboration with frog design.
