The safety engineering services we deliver in defence forms an integral part of the systems engineering lifecycle including requirements definition, procurement, installation, acceptance and continued safe operation of all platforms, equipment and services. Prototype and Product Development

Novel prototype and product development for our defence customers

Sagentia Defence supports defence clients with innovative prototype and product development. We de-risk complex technology developments by addressing commercial viability (how will it generate value?), a technical perspective (how will it work most effectively?) and a human factors/user experience (how will people use and benefit from it?) Additionally, we enhance existing product lines making equipment safer, lower cost and more robust.   

One of our key strengths is our ability to work throughout the entire lifecycle, from early research, design and invention to product development. This enables us to develop novel ideas by combining our deep understanding of defence priorities with our applied science expertise. We then turn those ideas into reality using our design and engineering capability.

Our extensive R&D facilities based in our Harston and Epsom offices include anechoic, chemistry, electronics, environmental, inspection, optics and prototyping laboratories, a design hub and a manufacturing suite.
