European Court of Auditors publishes a special report on their audit of sustainable pesticide use

The European Court of Auditors (ECA) have published a special report on their audit of sustainable pesticide use in the EU. The report concludes that improvements need to be made on the measurement and reduction of risks related to the use of plant protection products. As an outcome of the report, the ECA presents 3 recommendations to improve sustainable pesticide use:

1. Enable integrated pest management enforcement
2. Improve access to plant protection product statistics
3. Develop better risk indicators
